Welcome to the brand new Smithy Gallery blog!

We are in beautiful Blanefield in our converted Blacksmiths cottage, and the 200 year old stone walls are waiting for their new paintings. 

We have invited over twenty artists to create a collection for the Summer exhibition and the work is beginning to arrive . . . . the best part.

We will be discussing life in the art world, its pleasures and its pitfalls, from inside the gallery, to much further afield.
